Bob,
While looking thru your pictures the other day, I noticed you have a winterfront on your Supers. If I could, I would like to know where you got them. Last week when I had my H out discing, the outside temp was around 45 and my H just barely got in the RUN range. I was pulling an 8 foot disk going in almost to the axles and was pulling it in fourth gear so the tractor was working pretty good. It just seems to me that the tractor should be running a little warmer that it is and your winterfront looks like it would be the answer I'm looking for. Thanks in advance, Larry

Larry - One of my brothers made up those winter fronts for me. Nothing but pieces of vinyl-coated Cordura with grommets in each corner. The flaps at the bottom are held on by velcro.

If you post an email your email I'll send you a sketch of the dimensions. However I've also improvised winterfronts out of scraps of canvas or heavy plastic film. Hold them in place with a couple of bungees wrapped around the grille. Not as stylish as my custom 'fronts but they work fine.

The winterfronts work great - tractors warm up quickly to 170 deg in the coldest weather, even when just idling.
