I have an F20 in need of front tires and perhaps rims (it currently has neither). I am not sure what/how the front tire and rim assembly goes together; what I have is what appears to be two half-rims attached to the tricycle axel. Is there another half rim that bolts to the inside half? What am I missing? I get the tractor this way so I do not know what I should be looking for to re-assemble it. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards,

Mark

Alot of F-20's were released from factory with steel wheel's on the front (no rims or tires). If this is what you've got, as GP says they are worth some money. If you chose to not use them yourself, you should be able to easily sell them and buy rubber tired wheel's with some money left over. If they ARE a rubber tired wheel, it clearly sounds like some of it is gone. You should be able to get a complete set of front wheels (dust caps and everything) from just about any salvage yard that has F-20's. You might have to put new tires, seals and bearings on when you add them to the tractor. Just remember that alot of those steel wheel's were cut down, and a rim welded on to the center hub. You can ussually spot this by looking at the welds when this has been done. Another possibility is, I am wondering if your wheels were steel from factory, cut down, and a split rim welded to the hub and you are missing the rubber tires and the outer rings for the split rim. A picture would be nice, but hopefully you can take a second look at it and figure it out.

Sounds like you have factory steel wheels on the front (the style for sandy regions). Do you have a picture? Pictures can be very useful. If you do have front steel you can sell them and buy a set of rims and rubber tires and go out for dinner with the money you have left over. Front wheels for an F-20 aren't too hard to find. Try placing an add in the classifieds on this website. If you put on different wheels you will need to get the correct wheel bearings, spacers and dust caps. Bearings shouls still be available new from Rice equipment or others. You will proably need to buy spacers adn dust caps from the person you get the wheels from (if they have them).
