Seen the question on 1466 oil check and was wandering what diferance was noticed by overfilling the trans.I have a 1066 and always looking for ways to help her along.

Skip: I always found my 656, 1066 and even 560 hydraulics worked better when about 1/2 over the full mark. With 560 was a bit more difficult to achive as you had to fill to level and add a gallon. It was that way from new, didn't need poor filter or loose pickup tube. If you started getting squacks from hydraulic system you knew it was getting down to full mark.

you need the filter extention kit , it has a second filter and incresses the life capicity and by running the trans 5 gal over full it helps to keep the system from sucking air if the sump tupe has workes a little loose have ran all of our 06 , 56, and 66 and 86 series over full for years
