I found this for sale while on a short vacation. Neither I nor the seller could find an ID tag anywhere. The decals are gone. Can you tell me what it is?

I couldn't hear it run due to a dead battery. The hydraulic hoses are badly weather checked, as is the left rear tire. LR tire is also flat. Other rear tire isn't much better. Fronts look good. All the lights are missing the bulbs. There are some dead end wires dangling here and there. It is still 6 volt. It's being sold by a repair shop for the owner who apparently doesn't want to pay to have it fixed. Reported problem is a bad leak in the hydraulic system. The repair guy pointed to the fill plug and told how when you fill it up it runs out the bottom. He didn't seem real certain of the problem. Asking price is $1500 which seem high to me for something with the problems it has. Comments? Does anyone recognize the model? I have two more pics that I'll post in separate messages so as not to slow down the loading time.

It's called a Super C money pit. The WFE is worth more than the rest of the tractor, IF it is in good shape (the WFE, that is).

Hard to tell for sure, but it looks to me like a Super C with the wrong or an altered grill (looks like it's cut off at the bottom), and a plate on the left side of the engine, running from the torque tube to the steering box for some reason.
The serial number plate should be on the right hand side of the tool box below the seat, if it's still there.
If it doesn't run, I wouldn't go much more than scrap price for it, too many expensive things could be wrong. Around here that's a $250 - $500 tractor at the very most. And I'd look real hard at that plate and see why it is there. If the block is broken, it's just a parts tractor and the price would go down accordingly.
At least that's my opinion, others may see it differently.

That also looks like an original WFE for the Super C. It is just extended out about as far as it can go. The tierods were out in front on these just as this one is. They sell for around $300 to $400 in good shape.

Jim, It looks like a Super C to me with it's curved brake pedal arms and Temp gauge for the hydraulics mounted on top of the twin levers below the steering wheel. ID plate should have been on the right side of the tool box under the seat. It is missing the bottom of the grille that has the hole in it for the hand crank.

The 3-pt and WFE are well worth over $500.

Its a "C" Farmall with an aftermarket wide front. Looks to have an extra steel plate bolted on left of the engine...wonder in the block is also cracked?? $1500 is way to high...maybe $500. Cmore

You can get year from engine casting number located behind distributor (assuming it still has original engine).

I didn't see a crack, but I might have missed it. If you look at the pic I just posted of the other side, you'll see a plate on that side, too. There is a piece of pipe welded to the plate horizontally on the left side, about 1-1/2" in diameter and about 18" long. I don't know what that was used for either.

Thanks for the quick response! $500 was about what I was thinking, too. I may make him that offer and go back and get it if he bites. It's about a 500 mile round trip from my house to his.
