I am in the process of replacing oil seals in the left final drive of my super-A. I have removed all seals except the one on the rear axle shaft. I believe that this shaft passes through the large rear axle drive gear and on to the seed plate drive which lies on the medial face of the final drive. I have removed the hex-head bolt from the seed drive but can't remove the tubular drive shaft which surrounds the hex bolt. Will I need to remove this tubular shaft in order to take our the rear axle shaft and, if so, how do I remove it. I will appreciate any help you may offer.

Dan: I am quite frankly surprised you never got an answer on this one. I don't know if I have the answer, as I have never had one apart with the seed plate drive. Near as I can tell the seed plate drive is only an add on, thus what is behind it is exactly same as left side, as it applies to axle removal. My Super A and 130 don't have seed plate drive. My 140 does, but have never had it apart. I do know the axles on my SA and 130 are designed for the seed plate drive. That tubular shaft must just stuck in place.
