Does anyone know what a 240 is worth and is it a collectible?

i saw a farmall 240 sell at a well attended auction for $1125. no fast hitch, worn tires, dupont overhaul, but it ran well. super c's and 200s at same sale were bringing $1800-2200. none had fast hitch. the 240 was the bargain of the day. many less F240s made than I240s.

Am in the process of buying an International 240. It's is missing the four side panels, engine free, manifold broken off at muffler elbow, ragged hole cut thru hood for jury rigged exhaust, fair tin. Worn U joints in steering, 60% rears, older new fronts, worn three point Fast Hitch, optional seat, heavy duty 6' rear blade. Hasn't been run in "a few months" (2 years?) Haven't started it. $700.
The International 240 is the utility, the Farmall 240 is row crop.

No idea on the value, but all old Farmalls are collectible, and if you can make the tractor earn it's keep, even better.
