Chad, early H's had a 1-1/8" spline, think they changed in '42 or so. Later ones had the 1-3/8, so depending on year of your H, it could have either one. I'd get the 1-3/8, its the most common, you can always get an adaptor to convert the 1-1/8 to 1-3/8. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

They are all standard size, either 540 rpm., or 1000rpm. since I am sure your H does not 1000 rpm. p.t.o., it should not be too much of a problem finding a new shaft that will work, it will be the 6 spline.

Thanks guys! it is a 44 H and if not I will use it on the 48 H. Dad measured and said it looks like it is 1-3/8" but then again he has measured for me before hahahahahahaha.
thanks for the help!
