Can someone tell me if they all use the same engine. I have found a td6 in fair shape but has engine trouble. Is this a wet sleeve engine, it has antifreeze in oil. Have not bought it yet, want to find out how easy it will be to find parts. Do not mean to offend anyone by posting about a crawler on this board but it is International. I was told they all used the same engine. Thanks Gene

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I will probably be buying a lot of work, or maybe a lot of fun. Working on old iron is relaxing. To a point that is. Thanks again. Gene

The engines are the same. The engine has dry sleeves. If there is antifreeze in the oil, it's a cracked head, leaking head gasket, or corrosion of the cylinder wall.

If it has antifreeze it oil there is a 99% chance it has a cracked head if these engines are not shut down corectly they are very bad on cracking heads.

They do use the same engine. They do not however have wet sleeves, they are dry.
