Hello Everyone, My Dad is in a terrible spot. He was almost finished cutting alfalfa and broke the steel roller on his 990 haybind. Does anyone know of a junked out 990 somewhere in the area?? Has anyone ever had the roller out? Dad said that it looked as it was built around the roller and had no way out. I think we have pulled the rubber roller but we never have had to pull the steel roller. Any help will be gladdly accepted. Thanks in advance. David

David,
I just finished replacing the rubber roller on mine. The best way to do that is to drop the cutter bar/rollers as a unit, and back the frame away from it. Then everything is easy to work on.
