Hello guys, I have a question. I did some rear end work to my 1939 F20 over the winter. When i was finished i put in new gear oil. I had some leaks develop and after i got them fixed an old timer told me that the 80-90 weight oil that i was using was too thin. he suggested something liek 140 weight or higher. My question is this, is this oil still available and from where. or, is the oil i am using now still good. I would appreciate the help.

90 weight is what was used in those tractors. 140 weight is available at most TSC type stores but I don't think u need it. If u are concerned that a heavier weight oil won't leak out---it will leak just like the 90 and make a big slick mess!!!
