1066 rear center section

Got the axle housing off and the center section is ground out that the race sets in,time for the machine shop I guess,or are there other ways to fix this.

I hate to hear that too. I'm getting quite a bit of metal in my hydraulic filter screen, on my 1066. I dread tearing into it, but I will as soon as I can.

Wow that sounds bad. A great machine shop can weld and rebore this but I would think you will come out cheaper going to a parts/salvage and getting a used housing. I hate to hear that because I have a roaring bearing and I dread pulling my axle housing. I may be in the same boat. Good luck.
