Would like to know what the fair value of a International 350U in Fair-Good Condition. Needs engine work and hydrolic work. Has 2500 hours on the hour gauge. Has not been used for at least 5 years, but has been kept in a shed.

Thank You!

It would be prudent to be conservative and assume the torque amplifier (if it has one) is out, unless you can get the engine to run well enough to prove otherwise. (The tractor will run and work without it, but it's an EXPENSIVE repair if you want the tractor to be "just right.") Also, check the steering for excessive play. The torque amplifiers and the steering boxes were the Achilles' heels on these tractors.

I would agree, about $1500 or try to talk him down to $1000. If it needs a hydraulic pump, that can run about $5-600. Hopefully it's a less expensive problem, but you won't know until you dig into it, so figure it as the worst case.

where on earth do you boys get those prices, T/A s are a few hundred (300-600?) and hydraulic pumps are cheap at junk yards, not much to go wrong in them, seals and bearings a 30 dollar rebuild not 500 bucks for a brand new one.

A good one goes for between $2500 &3000 around here. So, if it need engine and hyd work, plus been sitting for 5 years, I would say a fair price is about $1500 tops. $1000 would be a better deal. Just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions..... .
