Can anyone tell me how to remove the drive shaft from a farmall h , Will the shaft slide past the main drive yoke if the presure is released off the clutch from the presure plate or do you have to remove the presure plate. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

Just did one last week. Had to take out the clutch pedal shaft, throwout bearing, alum sleeve and everything. It wouldn't quite clear but when I pulled down on it somewhat it came out. I am not sure if the disk slipped when I did that, but I will find out when I put it back together.

Most likely you will need to at least loosen the pressure plate bolts.

I believe if you take the driven flange off the trans input shaft, you can snake that long drive shaft out of there. you might have to remove the two throw out bearing support bolts to achieve this.
