1953 Farmall Super M stage 1 compression

Tractor was running fine developed a miss changed plugs still has miss and there is spark in all 4 cylinders no compression in cylinders 1 and 2. 95psi in #3 and 100psi in #4. what is the compression sapposed to be. We thing head gasket is out between 1 and 2. I never delt with this problem before and I was wanting some help and ideas. Thnck you for the help.

95-100 is a bit low, but not bad. The head gasket is probably blown between the #1 and 2 cylinders. If they went dead at the same time, that is the likely link. Good luck. If no compression, and the valve train is still intact (pull the valve cover), then it is time to pull the head. Good luck, JimN
