Does anyone know if there is a specific torgue sequence for the head bolts on a Farmall A? Or, do you just start in the middle and work your way out? Thanks,GC

There is a specified torque sequence but if you start at the center and work out to both sides at the same time it will work just fine. I would suggest torqueing it down in 2-3 increments. You are also supposed to re-torque it after you have warmed up the engine. This does require you to take the rocker arm off which means that you get to reset the valves again. I just got my valves close enough that it would run ok and then did the final setting after the warm torqueing.
