Will the rod and main bearings interchange on an f12 and a C or B farmall. Local parts store can't go back as for as the f12, but can do B and Cs. The f12 does have the farmall engine. Thanks for any help.

Last year when I rebuilt my F-12 I had to alter the the main bearings. The difference is that the little tabs or whatever you want to call them need to be on the opposite side, but nobody makes them that way that I heard of anyway.

I had to file off the the tabs on the 3 of them that went into the block. Than once they were in place I took a hammer and small punch to make new tabs on them, its no big deal.

I used a small grinding wheel in a Dremel tool and put a notch in the block for the tabs to fit.
