Well, I did run the old red yesterday. Went about 3/4 mile and promptly sputtered nearly out of gas. Do you guys recommend a lead additive? SO then the other monster I knew about reared its head..the seal on the hydraulic pump feeds into the crankcase.. anyone know the part number(s) I need for that repair and where I might find an assembly book? thanks for the help.. Did take some pics with the kids on my tractor. they look cute will be posting as time allows.

I wish my wife would buy me one. She just gripes about the ones I have now, and always talking about an auction. I told her I was leaving my old junk to a museum or someone that would appreciate them as much as I do. They have paid the bills as long as we have been married, some I had before I got her.

David, welcome to the board. I'd also like to welcome your wife, because you said SHE bought the tractor. We're a curious bunch here so be sure to send a photo of you and her driving or wrenching on it. Just post the photos on any of the picture sites on the left of this page and lift the url over here. Use the archives. You wouldn't believe all the questions we get that have been discussed in detail in the very recent past.
