The neighbor plowed his little garden today with his little Ford N something. Single board and they left hills and ruts all over the place. When I was in my teens me and my Dad set up a two and a three bottom for the 300 and 450. Is there somewhere that I can get the info on how to set a plow up so these twits can read it. When you try to tell people the finner points of plowing and this should be level and that should be shiney and this is how far from the wheel Etc. So many people are so Da--m pig headed!
Thanks folks. Jeffcat

Jeff,

Let me second the "give it up" sentiment. I've found that all too often, as in almost always, the pigheaded will deny their wrongness even in the face of overwhelming evidence.

Hi Give it up , Or , I've found that old JD or IH plow manuals are pretty informative . I'm new at plowing myself but the 555H manual and the IH #8 manual have some good info on plow adjustment . I'm sure that other older plow manuals are just as good . But these manuals are geared towards trailer type plows . I have a 565 semi mount Oliver plow and the manual leaves a lot to the imagination . Just my two cents . ...Randy
