THE MOWER YOU HAVE WAS SET UP FOR A 300 UTILITY.I RECOGNIZE THE LINKAGE.FOR YOUR TRACTOR,I THINK YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE LIFT LINKAGE TRIANGE AND USE A CHAIN WHICH I BELIEVE ATTATCHES UNDER YOUR LIFT CYLINDER.THAT IS HOW WE COVERTED OUR MOWER FROM OUR 300 TO USE IT LATER ON THE 340 UTIITY WE ALSO HAD.

Jon the lift rod needs a loop on each end with 3/4 inch hole for pins. It needs to be 75 inches from center to center then it uses a 5 inch clevis to hook it to the lift mechanism on rear of mower. If you will email me I will send you a picture of it. I don't know how to post pics here. If you email me let me know what it is about.

Jon, I looked at both of my manuals and the part in your photo doesn't look like either of the ones shown. In fact, both models use the same part numbers but your appears to be different then what is shown in the manuals or the part catalog. Yours might be a later improved design but I think this is the item that the lifting spring or springs are anchored too. Also, the C-21-P model might have been replaced by the 2C-F21 mower as my manual for that model is dated July 1955 whereas, the one for the C-24-P model is dated October 1953. My parts catalog has revisions up through Aug. 1956. Again hope this is of some help, Hal.
