About 5 miles from me there is an F-20. serial no 747. The 247th one built, All three serial numbers match. Her husband restored it in the 80's She wants 1500.00 for it but no takers.

That's nice Russ. Why in the world would someone want to scrap something like that especially if it's loose? Makes absolutely no sense to me. Glad you saved it from the furnace! Did it have the tag on the toolbox?

mike, no tag (darn it) looks like the tags on those are two rivet like a regular? frame number and block number match. yeah, he offered it to me a couple of years ago and others looked at it also but no takers. i thought it was just another f-20 i didn't need till i saw the gas tank and the number. also didn't even check to see if it was stuck or not back then. jeeez.

That tractor would have a different tag than the later tractors. It would have one that says "McCormick Deering Farmall F-20" at the top instead of "international Harvester Co." with the model stamped in.
