I am looking for information on how much fluid goes into the rearend of an IH 434? And what type of fluid used. And sorry if i am using the wrong term but as this is pretty much my first experience at working on tractors and not cars i am not sure of the terms. I would truly appreciate any help i can get.
Thanks

The rear end/tranny holds 5 gallons, The fill plug is right of the shifter. There are are two drain plugs one under the tranny and one at the very rear bottom of the rear end of the differental There is also a full plug on the right side below the shifter that you can use to tell when it is full. The fill plug behind the seat is not the tranny, it is for the hydralic system which is 3 gallons.
