iv got a '52 cub that hasnt been used but a few times a year
for the past few years. during the past 2 yrs, the hydraulic performance
has been degrading, in that the touch control is very slow to respond
and is jumpy. at the present, the hydraulics will not work at all.
not having any experience with hydraulics, i would be open to suggestions
on what to look at to get them fixed. the tank is full of hydraulic fluid, but to my knowledge, has not been replace in more than 10 years.
any suggestions you have are greatly appreciated. thanks

Scott, There can be many reasons for this. Have you bled the system, this is done by leavinbg the filler plug out and (with tractor running at slightly above idle) move the lever back and forth about 12 times. If no luck there you may have a pump problem or the system it self needs cleaning or rebuilding.

Would be glad to help you further on this, drop me an email. Mey
