I posted this message under crawler discussion group but thought I would give it a shot under International site, does anyone have info or know of a web site or possibly any collectors out there have info on International Crawlers, particularly the T340, I recently purchased a narrow gauge and am looking at an Ag crawler with a 3 point and belt pulley, I collect crawlers and never saw or heard of these till I ran across them. Any info or leads would be appreciated, would like to know if anyone has seen any or know how rare they are or have them.

The T-340 & T-340A were built 1960-1965 in gas (T) and diesel (TD) versions. I don't know how many of them were narrow gauge. They were a crawler version of the Farmall/International 340 tractors. I don't have production number but serial numbers start at; 60-1979, 61-5370, 62-6169, 63-6397, 64-7338, & 65-8525.It had a 135 cu in gas or 166 cu in diesel. Nebraska test results were; gas test# 725, 31.04 dbhp & 36.49 pto hp, diesel test# 776, 32.72 dbhp, & 39.80 ptohp.

Guy Fay would be the only possable source, but I doubt that his production numbers are broken down to different variations, ie narrow, standard, or wide gauge, within the series.

Thats correct, Harold- to my knowledge, the Hisorical Society doesn't have much on options-we've got really complete numbers for a couple years in the 1930s, that's all that's turned up yet. Lots of other neat stuff, though- we would have monthly serial numbers on the 340s.
