What are the differences between an industrial Farmall "A" and the normal Farmall "A" tractor?

Tom; The industrial A has a foot throttle, in addition to the hand throttle. The front axle is also made of heavy, square tubing, and is adjustable. The serial number prefix for the industrial A is " IAA ", instead of " FAA ". I hope this helps you. (P.S. The foot throttle is located on the platform, with the clutch, and the brakes, on the right side of the brakes.)

Tiny; The horsepower and the rpm's were the same between the Farmalls, and the industrial "A". The other difference that I didn't mention in my other post, is that the industrials had the "International" name plate on the grill, instead of the "Farmall" name plate.

Nope. The square axle and the foot throttle were optional on the Farmall version. I've seen a Farmall 100 with both the foot throttle and the square front axle. It was originally purchased by a county maintenance crew for roadside mowing.
