I finally got my '48 H back together and running last night. It came to life with a roar! I didn't get the governor linkage hooked up right and she started to way over rev. once I got the linkage hooked up right it purred like a kitten.
It has never sounded so good since I've owned it. It is amazing just what a good overhaul will do!
Of course there always has to be one monkey wrench in the deal, now the radiator has developed a good sized leak. I guess I'll have to pull it back out and take it to the radiator shop again.
I got to try out the 3 point I built and it works great!

Zonie, That's great news! It's always rewarding to hear them fire up for the first time after all those hours spent working on them. Hope the rad comes back this time fixed.//FB
