I have noticed recently,that the carb on my super a will have fuel running out of it when it sits for a day or so it already has been adjusted and cleaned, it acts like the needle is sticking,again anyone care to comment.

My C was doing the same thing. Talked to an old IH carb man and he said to take the need valve out and on the end that is a little rounded, just touch it to a grinder enough to flatten it just a bit. He said the old origonal ones where not as as rounded on the end.It fixed mine.I'm not talking about the pointed end but the end that contacts the float.Hope this helps

He said the old origonal ones where not as as rounded on the end.It fixed mine.I'm not talking about the pointed end but the end that contacts the float.Hope this helps

Could be rust or pits in the needle and/or seat. Remove carb, disassemble, replace needle and seat to fix. Also could be the float has hole in it and takes on fuel so that it no longer floats and then allows more fuel in the carb.

Cheapest fix is to turn off the gas when you aren't using the tractor.
