Louis,
The Super A used the C-113 engine, same as the A, B , C and Super C (early) tractors. 113 Cu. In. displacement, 1,400 RPM governed max speed and 17.35 drawbar HP, 19.06 PTO/Belt HP. Compression ratio is 6.0:1, 11 gal. fuel tank and it weighs 2,385 lbs without wheel weights or fluid in the tires.

Louis; Welcome to Y.T. Repost if you need more help. Lots of experts here who are glad to share info with. Andy's correct as to years Super A was built. I think it's about 16hp. Repost with serial number and we'll get the exact details. Dave.

That serial number is for a '46 A, not a Super A. The major difference is that the A did not come with a hydraulic system but most Super As did. The A (gasoline version) had a bely horsepower rating of 19.

Serial number plate is on the right side of the left seat support, under the seat.

Look at thte links at left to determine the age from the serial number. It will be from the late '40's to the early '50's for a Super A.

I noticed your serial numbers don't match for a Super A (links to left). I can't recall but the you should be able to tell the year from the letter code. Some one else with better references should be able to look it up. It may be a 1947 A that some one modified and put a Super A Sticker on. As far as the tire size goes, I'd have to check when I get home.
