Has any one ever seen an H with 36" rear wheels before. I was just up in Northern Michigan cruising the "back roads" looking for jewlery and saw a nice looking H sitting behind an old store. It had some interesting features that I had never seen before one of which was 36" rear wheels. How many were made this way? Have I just been overlooking this feature? I didn't have my "bible" with me to check the serial number but I think it was a '39. It had the notched platform. Just Curious!?

Yes, i have a 39 H with 36" rims. they fit the same wheel as the 38" rims. The 36 rim has a built in offset to make up the difference. Have 2 other H's that have 38 rims. Makes the 36 really look small. Link below should show them. Wade

Yes some of the early Hs did have 36" rims. That would be a 1939 or 1940.
