Most of the F12 Farmalls I see have stamped steel wheels.
We had a 1936 0r 37 that had cast iron wheels. Obviously these were optional.
Anyone know what percentage of F12's were shipped with cast iron wheels?
Thanks,
Gerb

The early ones had F&H round spoke wheels, or flat spoke steel wheels, which were often cut off and had rubber tire rims welded on. NOt sure when, but appearantly 38 they changed to cast iron wheels with demountable rims. MOst of them on the f12 seem to be 40 inch. the round spokes were usually 36 inch, but I had a set of 40 inch. The F14 also had the cast iron wheels with demountable rims. My 38 F20N has iron wheels and demountable rims also, so maybe 38 was the year of the change.

I just bought 2 9.5x40's and 2 tubes 2 weeks ago from miller tire(millertire.com). You might want to sit down for this...375 each for the tires and 45 each for the tubes. I searched every outlet and his are the only ones around. Great looking tires, made by Alliance. I have a couple of 40" rims that may be usable. Drop me an email if you want more info. Kevin
