I need some help on my injection pump. The trouble is it will not pump diesel out to the injectors! I have used the manual pump and have a good supply of diesel from the vent line on the pump back to the tank and I can hold my finger over the opening of the vent line and it will build pressure there while cranking the engine but no fuel to the injectors. What gives?

rosa pump will not pump fuel if return line is blocked. leave return line off and see if it is pumping fuel out of return and if it is see if it will run

Sounds like it is time for a rebuild. Time the eng. before the pump is removed.

I have a 460D with the same problem. Several contacts (pump rebuilders) were made and all agree it is time to rebuild. The problem is that a fiber thrust bearing has deteriated & is blocking the flow. Pump rebild costs varied from $300-$450.

My Gleaner has the roosa master pump. Had this problem last fall. It was about $300 to fix it. Pull te check valve off of the pump top and if it is full of coffee grounds The plastic and fiber parts failed.

Well I decided to take the pump apart to see if I could do anything to it. Well I opened my service manual and started to take things apart. I found that the plungers in the rotor were stuck and not letting the rollers do their thing. I washed everything and put it back together and put it back on the tractor. After a little pull from our other tractor, the 560 came to life after about 15 years. I do have a bad leak in a hydraulic hose and looks like the TA is bad but aleast I know that it will still run. Thanks for everyones help. k.p.
