Can anyone tell me how I can determine the value of a working 1950 Farmall Cub tractor with the following attachments:
-Sickle Bar Mower
-Belly Mower
-Cultivator
-Mold Plow
-Grader
Any leads or info would be greatly appreciated!

The tractor's in Cleveland OH area. Those people know you can go and buy a light weight Lawn Boy or John Deere, etc. for 3 to 5 grand that won't do what your Cub will do. Hold out for 3000 at least with all the attachments. You could post on the Cub discussion group to sell the attachments alone and get 3000 dollars and still sell the tractor for 2000 to 2500.

Margaret,

Geeze! It would have to be in my back yard! The Willer Home for Retired Cubs already has 3 from your general area. :-)

Seriously...Your best course would be to offer it at auction with the best advertising possible. The market will determine the fair value. Give as much information as you know for sure about the condition (including pictures) and give the general (city) location...for the convenience of potential buyers.

There are a lot of potential buyers right here on this list, and I'm sure they would treat you fairly. You can set a reserve price somewhere between $1500 and $2500 and see what happens. You can lower it later, if necessary.

George, that tractor with attachments is worth every bit of 3000.00 dollars and maybe more.
Shame on you.

Margaret: Tell us what area of the USA? Any where close to a large metro area with lots of hobby\horse farms nearby will increase the value. I just toured Montanna & Wyoming and stopped at most rural "red-tractor-4-sale" signs and their prices reflect non metro hobby farm areas due inpart to transportation costs. Try advertizing in a large-metro paper for highest price? ralph

Margaret location makes a huge difference in value. Cub prices vary widely. Someone recently on this forum got a nice Cub with a couple of attachments for $100. In some areas of the country you can get up to $3,000 with all those attachments. My guesstimate for Central Indiana would be between $1,500-2,500.
