What size rear tires did a 1945 H have on it when it came from the factory?

I can't be dogmatic about the '45 models, but the
'44 model that I watched being unloaded 57 years
ago this next week had 10-38 Goodyear "S-3" tires
on it--the S-3 referring to the synthetic rubber
that everything with tires had to use during the
war.

By the by, this tractor is still going strong, and
I drive it periodically when I am visiting in the
area (MO) where it "discovered America".

Scott there were two common rim widths at that time. 9" and 10". If you have 9", I recommend the 11.2-38 which replaces the old measurement calculation of 10-38. If you have the 10" rim, I always use 12.4-38. Punch below and select tractor rear in the left tool bar to see the various sizes that M.E. Miller sells. They advertise on this site.

My Dad thought when my granpa bought it new it had 10 -38 on it. It has 11.2 38's on it now but thinking about buying new tires for it. We still use it but looking to restore it one of these days. Just wanting to buy the right size. Thanks for any help.
