My '47 H has steerable cultivators and a side dresser on it. The fertilizer box is green and has "BLUE FERTILIZER" painted on it. The gears, frame, and rest of side dresser is light blue. Does anyone know anything about this as far as where it was made, rarity, is Blue Fertilizer actually an equipment manufacturer or fertilizer manufacturer or both? I'm getting pretty curious... Fireman

John Blue is still in business and is located right here in Huntsville, AL. Punch the link below for contact info and website.

So Red, you're in Huntsville? I live in New Hope, between Huntsville and Guntersville. My dad was a truck-driver for John Blue for about 16 years or so. I "helped"? him haul equipment when I was a kid. They delivered all over the U.S., coast to coast, and also into Canada. Glad to meet someone nearby.

John Blue made fertilizer distribution equipment. I believe they were out of Alabama and do not know if they are still in business, I believe they are as I was told that I can still get parts for my NH3 applicator.
