The trans and PTO do run together and do what others say for the transmission (drain/level hole on left side and fill hole on or by top stick shift cover). However, I think the manual recommends adding some into the belt pulley section of the PTO to ensure that some gets there right away even though it is connected fluid wise to the rest.

I think the B is like the A. ON the A, the level plug is located on the left front of the transmission housing. It's a 1/4 or 3/8 in pipe plug. On the A it is behind the left brake rod and and you need to disconnect the brake rod to get to it. Fill until oil comes out the hole. The fill hole is on top the transmission near the gear shift. The final drives are separate and need to be changed separately. If like the A, there is no drain on them. You have to remove the pans that cover the bottom of the bull gears. Go get new gaskets before you do that. The fill plug and the level plug are the same on the final drives. Fill until oil is to the bottom of the fill plug. The fill plug is a 1 inch pipe size plug located on the inside of the final drive near where the drawbar bolts on. It has a recessed square hole to stick a square wrench in to remove it. A 1/2 inch drive socket ratchet or breaker bar works good for a wrench to remove the plug.

Yes, the transmission and rear end drain together. I don't remember for sure, but there may be another drain on the PTO housing itself too. It sounds like it had moisture in the lube making it milky. The check plug is on the left side of the trans under the rod that operates the left brake. Fill with 90w or 90-140 until some comes out that hole. Don't overfill it or it'll run out the differential shaft seals.

According to my Super A book, the transmission drain is below and forward of the belt pulley near where the PTO shield bolts to the housing.
The Super A takes 4qts. if no pulley and 5qts with. 90 wt. gear lube will work fine although Hy-tran is what some recommend. It is available at dealers.
I think the B and the Super A are the same in this respect.

Keep looking for another plug. It sounds like you drained the pto/pulley assembly, but not the tranny/gearbox.
