My M has not been run for six months. It will only run a few seconds on ether. Took the carburator off and found some dirt in it. Thought that was it but no luck Where do these get plugged up. Thanks.
Dick

Dick you could have restrictions in a couple of areas. First of all, open up the high speed mixture another 1/2 turn and see if that helps. If not, I would do the following.

Remove the fuel bowl strainer and the screen. Turn on the gas and see if you have good flow. If not, the inlet on the strainer is plugged. You will more than likely have to remove it and clean out the tank.

If you have good flow, reassemble and unhook the line at the carburetor and check for fuel flow. It it is good, then remove the nut/strainer assembly that the fuel line hooks to. That strainer might be plugged.

If it looks good, take the carburetor bowl off and remove the float, needle and seat and blow compressed air into that chamber where the seat screws in. You might have some blockage there.

Let us know if any of this helps or not.
