Why do "Honey Do Lists" seem to not cover the fun things like spending time with the ol tractor? It sure makes for a long day.

Wow, am I glad I am divorced. Actually I am glad every day, but thanks for the reminder of how it was. Now I can do what i want with my time, and buy what I want with my money.

Know why a divorce from a nasty wife cost so much? because it is worth it!!
Not knocking the great marraiges out there where both parties are happy, but I hear a lot of whining on all the antique tractor and car forums I read about wives who either control the money, the man, or make it so miserable that it is easier to comply. Wish I had a dollar for every time I heard my father say, we better not do, buy, try that, or we will never hear the end of it from your mother. Some folks are miserable after a divorce, I am happy enough to sing.

You're in good company Mike. Seems like the only way to get shop time is to give up sleep. Haven't turned a wrench on the H in over 3 weeks. I would say I'm planning to do nothing but tractorin' tomorrow but I'm afraid she might find out. By the way, follow all of the advice below and you'll find "Build Mike's Doghouse" on the list real soon.

Funny you mentioned that. I've started working on that Dog House about three weeks ago. I think I'll paint it RED!

Buy your wife an old tractor. Then at least jobs on her tractor should make the list.

That's easy. You need to make a "honey do" list for the wife. "Sand the rims, change the oil, buff out the paint," It works both ways....

Wait until she is reading her favorite book or magazine. Then start talking about the tractor or just talking to her. My wife usually asks, "Weren't you going to work on the Super C today?"
