I thought I'd try this here first before the hauling schedule board....

Am I going to be able to find someone to haul a 560 and my household inside one trailer (covered) from Colorado to the east coast? I've only seen tractors on flatbeds - can they tie them down inside and then let me pack my worldly possessions all around it?

I suppose I can sell it here and buy one there, but I'm just starting to get really acquainted with the old gal.

Thanks - Sam C.

I got a chuckle out of your Question.... If the tractors are in an enclosed trailer I would HOPE you couldn't see them! LOL.... The Other guys are right. Trucking co. would make You drain gas, and Let Them tie the tractor down. Your Tractor should be able to make the trip just fine!

I used to drive a truck for a company which also owned the local Allied moving agency. I would see trucks come in all the time with a car in the trailer. They put plywood all around it and kind of box them in and then put all your belongings in around that. As far as costing extra I do not know, but I do know they did that all the time. You would see a lot of classic cars come in and out of the lot. Make you wonder what are inside closed trailers going down the road. Hope this helps. Bill {Antique Acres}

As long as it's no more than 100 inches wide you might be able to find some one to do it, but you'll have to drain the fuel out of it and it'll probably cost extra.
