My father-in-law has a nice international 720 plow with 5 16 inch bottoms. This plow has good clearance and works realy well. What I am interested in finding is a similar plow with only 4 16 inch bottoms. What Model of plow should I be calling around asking about at the various used equiptment dealerships? Thanks in advance for the answer. Greg H.

You can make a four bottom out of a five bottom , I have done this many times, the IH plow is the easiest to cut down they are all built on a three bottom base just remove the last bottom and move the tail wheel up to the next set of holes and rebolt it no drilling required then move the tail wheel pivot arm up to the next set of hole and rebolt it then shorten the coupling pole and you are done takes about two hours for the first time .
