it's a rough diagram you have there but the plow attachment resembles the back side of the planter which covers the trench after the potatoe is placed in the ground.

Hi,

Looks to me like a mud scraper that's mounted on
the tractor to scrape mud off of the tires as they
turn. I could be wrong, but that's what it looks
likfe from the drawing...
