My father and I went to go see this Farmall A that had a snowplow on it. The brackets were assembled perfect for the plow. It had nearly new tires on it all the way around. A hydrolaic pump was mounted to raise the plow. On the - side, the A has no lights nor electric start, and needs paint. But when we checked it out, it took off on the second crank. there is no rust, execpt the seat. It needs a few gaskets, but not immdeitly.
It also comes with chains, and the engine doesn't smoke. We paid $1,100.00 for it. we're getting it next week. Do you guys think it's an excellent deal? Thanks for your comments.

Ya done good. $1,500 would be an average price for central Indiana.

I looked at an A with a stuck/partially torn apart engine, that the rear end was locked up in it also,it came with a snow plow that had been butchered up to fit a Bobcat, and because it wasn't a Super A it had no hydraulics. The guy wouldn't come down a cent off his $950 price,so I let him keep it.I would say you got one heck of a deal!!!Congrats!!!
