sounds like a very nice super h, with the wide front end, i'd say it's worth anywhere from $2000-$2500

I have a 1954 SH with factory wide front. It runs well and has good rubber. I bought it for $950 last June. When I showed up to get it, the previous owner tried to buy it back. It has excellent tin but needs paint and I have about $1500 in it right now. I think I stole it. I think $3000 is reasonable...BB

Dennis , I just bought a 54 super H this summer for $1400 in central Wisc where I live. I was real happy to get it for this price. Schwartz wide front,90% rear tires, complete original good running tractor. A neighbor a few miles away sold it to a dealer in our area and I bought it from the dealer. In my mind a good super H is worth up to $3000 if mechanically sound with good rubber and decent paint but many sell alot cheaper if you are at the right place at the right time. Please consider putting your serial number in the registry if you havent already done so. Hope this is of some help.Pat

Dennis, I guess it depends on where you are, I always hear about these $800 Super C's, and $1000 Super H's and M's, but here in Upstate NY they are as few and far between as $800 JD B's and A's.
The owner of the dealership where I work bought a '53 series 1 Super H at auction, live hydraulics, straight metal, spring style seat with battery under tank on top of hyd. reservoir. No fenders, needs paint, valve work, carb rebuild, tires, brakes, lights, and distributor, as well as lot's of cosmetics. Has narrow front.
He let me buy it for his cost;$1375, and I was happy to get it. Going by what we have put in it so far, and figure we will yet, yours is pretty valuable! $2800-$3200 maybe? Pete

I agree with Pete. I saw a Super H with narrow front sell in central IA a couple of weeks ago on a farm sale for $2000 and it was needing a lot of work. Had an old loader of some kind on it. I thought I might be interested but changed my mind.
