I have a 1990 d4c and its brakes won't work (turn). I think I have it fully adjusted.
Any suggestions on fixing, please?

Thanks.
-Tim

Maybe the brakes are adjusted too tight and not allowing the clutches to disengage, the clutches should be fully disengaged before the brake comes on,does the machine stop when you press both pedals,if it does not the clutches are not disengaging and you would need to sort that first, let the brakes off again and then see if the machine stops when you press the pedals if not there could be an issue with the control valve or oil pressure that needs seeing to.

Does anyone know if a D3C is similar for brake adjustment? I have a book on that with the adjustment procedure. I could fax the pages to Tim.
