I have a 1010 jd and when I pull on my right steering lever it don't turn very good and some times stops. Does anyone have any idea what is happening with it. I am brand new crawler owner also I need the wiring diagram for the ignition switch need to rewire it.

sounds like problem is in the left side when you pull right side left side clutches are probably slipping failing to pull it ahead

First, if you dont have an operators manual, I'd suggest you get one. I have the part numbers and the JD dealer will order one for you. Tell me if your machine is gas or diesel and agricultural or industrial (green or yellow) and the serial number. It gives a lot of maintenance details.
Tell us more about what your right side is doing. As you pull the lever, first the clutches release a little then a lot. Then the brake comes on to stop the track completely. Compare to left side. I just had my 1010 left side redone. They were slipping and the brake grabbed. Greg

sorry guys i meant to say I pull on my lt lever and it starts to slowly go then almost immediately the right side totally stops and will not move. the rt lever when pulled the lt track does fine. no problems..my serial number is 11766 and I have a owners manual but it doesn't give me alot of info and not part numbers or anything like that. the reason i need the wiring diagram is because my ignition switch had two of the prongs fall off and i need to know what wires go where on a new switch. Thanks for your help. also did you have jd dealer redo your clutch and how much was it if you don't mind telling me..

John
it sounds like your right steering clutch is gone all the steering clutch dose is remove power from
the rear sprocket on there prospective side then as you pull the leaver further back a break band
brakes the sprocket . In your case when you disengage the left clutch and then break to steer the
right side slips.
