I am looking at an 58 7U series D4. The trucking company wants to know the weight and width before giving me a quote. It has a dozer on it, no canopy no winch. I did not measure it before I left the sellers place. Does anybody know the weight? and width outside of track to outside of track? A ballpark figure is good enough.

HI The d4 should weight14000lbs,the width 6.6� and I have some use d4 parts. HECTOR

Thanks HECTOR! If I do go ahead with this cat once I use it a bit I will have a better idea what it needs. I am also looking at a D2 kind of a nice little machine has a dozer canopy and a winch. But I have heard that the D4 is a better machine. I dont know, I am going to clear some land do a little logging nothing bigtime just enough to give an old guy something to do.
