Steering clutch discs

I priced new steering clutch discs for my JD 420C at the JD dealer's today. $66 each. I've seen them in a catalog for $32. What could account for the big difference? I'm past retirement age and will do well to use this machine for another 10 years. Would the cheap ones last that long? TIA

Bernie,
I have the fiber discs for way less than $32, have had no problems, and I run them in several crawlers that get used. I also have the steel discs, pressure plate, and brake band if you need them. Visit my webiste for more details.
