I just bought an HD7 and it was delivered today. The fella said the left clutch was sticking a bit. I guess that was only the tip of the iceberg. Please don't laugh at my obvious newness. I'm used to wheel tractors. I can't get the crawler to turn at all. She moves forward and back fine. I pull the lever back, and that side stops. Pull the left lever and push the left pedal, she just stops and hitches and shudders. Pull both levers back, dead stop. Read elsewhere about push on a tree to work things loose, left track stops, right track digs in. Did I get a basket case or do I just need to learn about and do some adjustments? Thanks for any and all help!

BTD,sounds like you either have a steering clutch problem or final drive bad on one side. Have parts, and service books available for that tractor. also can get new aftermarket steering clutch discs. let me know if I can help any more. Thanks, Ray 1-877-901-5556 or email me

My HD-7 is working now but I'm going to write down your number. I am always looking for more parts sources for the thing.
