the 175 series crawlers dont have a high resale value, one reason i was told by a dealer years ago is that the transmissions are alot of trouble.. the trans i guess is too light to handle the 6 cyl eng's high speed's. also IH use the undercarriage from designed for the 3964 IH excavator's on them, for some reason they tended to wear out faster.i think back in 85 i was looking at buying a new 175 trackloader with 4in one bucket , the dealer wanted to get rid of the one he had and offered it to me for 11500 bucks.. i declined tho.

Tom, what they are worth is ?? w/o knowing more details. The only food for thought for you is make sure they have the same size u/c. Some top rollers & front idlers are not interchangeable.
Two different pitched rails are out there. One is 7" & the other is 71/2". Parts books do not tell you what it has on it for sure. Yes, the rails , rollers & spkt. differ, but will interchange as a whole from loader to loader in the series you are talking about. Just my $.02 worth. HT
