I"ve got a 990 Q-Cab. And I was wondering why the manual states to use a certain brake fuild from a Case dealer?

Are the seals in the master cylinder and piston allergic to normal automotive brake fuild? I haven"t added any fuild since I bought the tractor, but I"ve got a leaking brake piston, and I was wondering if adding the wrong fuild would make this happen. If this is the case I want to remove the incorrect fuild and fill with the correct stuff. Any help would be greatly appreicated. Thanks.

Do not use brake fluid. It will ruin the seals. The correct brake oil is a mineral oil base [like engine oil is a mineral one]. We do not get the corrosion and damage to the cylinders like the automotive ones do.
