I was wondering if PULLING a older tractor La - S behind a pick-up...putting the front wheels on a cart...only going 15 -20 mph or is that to fast?? What do you think ??/ I appreciated any out-put.... I will THANK YOU in advance....MV

THANKS for getting back to me.....That will work in some case's....I was going to be pulling a plow behind the tractor...that way if I don't get done I will have something to get back home...MV

I don't think I would pull the tractor much faster than it would travel under its own power, about 10 mph.

Something you might want to consider is putting the rear wheels on your cart and letting the front wheels roll. This way you aren't taxing the drive chains and transmission on the tractor. Plus the wheel bearings and tires for the front are easier and less expensive to work on.

Several years ago I remember reading something where a guy had towed a John Deere B accross several states behind his Nissan. He put the rear wheels on the dolly and let the front ones roll.

I'm not going to say that was a great idea, but it can be done. Be careful and good luck.
