Does anyone know what the correct rear tires where on a '51 DC? one of my DC's has 38-11 and my parts tractor has 38-13.6's. Does it really matter?

www.millertire.com has a conversion chart with the different sizes and conversions, the table is under their FAQ section.

According to my service manual 11-38 and 12-38 tires were available as original equipment on the DC's. According to the conversion chart these are 12.4-38 and 13.6-38 tires. I just purchased a set of 13.6-38s for my '49 DC and they are identical in size to the 12-38s that were original. 13.6-38's are probably the original size for a '51.

The 13.6 replaced the 12x38.

The 13.6X38 should be the same as the 11X38 the later being the older markings for the tires. The first one 13.6X38 should say replaces 11X38 just under it.
